The government defines housing as "affordable" if a family spends no more than 30% of their income to live there.
Almost a third of the residents in our area are burdened by housing costs.
Housing costs are on the increase and many of our residents are struggling to find homes that they can adequately afford and still be able to make ends meet.
With the help of our community the Fuller Center for Housing Nature Coast aims to build and renovate homes designated affordable for low-income families.
As part of our Building Homes Together campaign the Fuller Center for Housing
Nature Coast is aiming to raise $75,000
We have already raised over $15,000 towards our first home. Donate today help us change the future of affordable housing.
Nathan is a single father, caring for his disabled daughter. Almost half of his income from his full time job goes towards rent. Between their household bills and medical costs it doesn’t leave any room for life’s inevitable pitfalls. Unfortunately, Nathan’s struggle is not a unique story. Many of the families in our area are faced with the same situation. With the help of our community, the Fuller Center for Housing Nature Coast is fighting to eliminate poverty housing and make affordable housing attainable for everyone.
An African Proverb says “It takes a village to raise a child” but what does it take to raise a village? It takes dedication, commitment & resources. Building Homes Together we WILL raise a village! Donate today to help us to reach our goal of $75,000 to strengthen “our village”.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve our community. Your generous donation will help fund our mission.
